Our enrollment is full for the current school year. Please reach out to us to learn more about our school and join our waitlist for the 2020-21 school year! We will be notifying families on our waitlist about available spots in March 2020.
Our application process has several steps, which are listed below. You can also view and print our application checklist here.
- Phone call or meeting between our director and the interested family. We will discuss your family/child(ren)’s needs and how we can help.
- Submitted application, which includes the application and reference form.
- Formal decisions by AMS staff
- Families should submit their deposit (equal to the last month’s tuition) and enrollment paperwork within 1 week of acceptance. After 1 week, their spot will be released to other prospective families. Once a family is accepted, they can always enroll pending availability in our programs.
We aim to keep tuition as low as possible. The major expenses for a micro school are teacher salaries and rent. A financial advantage of the micro school model is that there is little administrative overhead and rent is often low because it requires a smaller space. This provides families with a specialized education at a fraction of the cost of most private schools.
Limited tuition assistance is available through the school. Additionally, families can apply to Parent’s Challenge for tuition assistance or talk to us about our partnership with ACE Scholarships. We are actively pursuing creative ways to reduce tuition. If you feel that our school would be a good fit, even if tuition is a stretch for your family, please reach out to us! Families can expect a tuition increase of about 3% each year, which is typical for private schools. We do offer a sibling discount.
Tuition for the 2020-2021 school year will be announced in March 2020.
Please be sure to contact us with any questions. Our goal is for the application process to be as simple and organized as possible. Thanks!
